The movement accounts for the length of time it takes for the stop-reset-restart to take place and positions the chronograph second hand in the proper position for the current elapsed time for the current timing segment. When the Chronograph is not in operation, the upper sub-dial displays ‘hours’ for a 2nd time zone.
